Week 33 of pregnancy was the week of my Baby Shower and of course I had to share a glimpse with all of you. The shower was hosted by my sister at this beautiful restaurant that both my husband and I love. Because breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, the menu selection was brunch. The food, ambiance and company was truly amazing! I feel incredibly blessed to have so many lovely people in my life who are just as excited as I am for the arrival of my Baby Girl.

Speaking of baby girl, we can now call her by her official name, Olivia Rose! Picking a name was harder than I ever anticipated it to be, naming a pet is one thing, but there is so much pressure when naming another human being. Both my husband and I had a big list of names but we tried to narrow it down to ones that would be easily translated or pronounced in Portuguese (challenging, yes!).
We also like names to have some meaning to them, and since my mother-in-law is unfortunately no longer with us, we decided to honor her by naming the baby based on her first and last name. Olivia comes from latim and it means Olive tree (Oliveira in Portuguese) which was my MIL family name. And Rose, was her first name (translated from Portuguese, Rosa). I find both names to be very classic and feminine, and I’m so happy we can name the baby something so special.

And, as always, I’ll leave you with a glimpse of my week:
How far along? 33 weeks
Total weight gain/measurements: 128.8lbs, which puts me at 18.8lbs weight gain.
Maternity clothes: Yes for the most part but I can still wear non-maternity clothes, such as the dress I wore to my shower.
Stretch marks: None so far. I’m still using bio oil, palmers cocoa butter and coconut oil.
Sleep: Sleep is becoming more uncomfortable. I’m making multiple trips to the bathroom.
Best moment this week: This week was very exciting, of course the baby shower being the big event, but I got a couple of things off my to-do list, as well. I finally made time to get my hair trimmed, I skipped the highlights (as you might notice from the pictures) as I’m trying to minimize the baby’s exposure to unnecessary chemicals. In addition, I became CPR certified. Ever since I got pregnant that I had this goal in mind, if god forbid my baby ever chokes on food or an object, I want to be able to do the right thing at the right time. Also, it is always nice to know I can now help a stranger on the street if they collapse and stop breathing.
Miss anything? Not really. Just my energy!
Movement: Yes, so much movement.
Food cravings: Nothing in specific lately.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Not really
Gender: Girl
Labour signs: No
Belly button in or out? Out
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time:  Happy most of the time but getting very anxious to have everything in order. Anxiety has been really kicking in this week, so I’m hoping once I get all her things washed and organized that this will subside.
Looking forward to: Organizing all the gifts and purchasing whatever is left to buy before her arrival.
